A Little Bit of My Heart
...dies with Patrick Swayze's defeat from cancer. This recent news along with Michael Jackson's untimely death bring a sad nostalgia. I spent hours in my room during my teenage years trying to perfect the moonwalk and then later pretending I was Baby doing "the lift". Everybody did this, right?
Note: I was barred from most pop culture until my teenage years. I was 12 when I had my first radio (not stereo) and 15 when I set foot into a movie theater.
I would like to think that somewhere, Michael slowly moonwalks as he leaps into Patrick's arms for the lift. R.I.P.
